ATTENTION 8TH GRADE PARENTS: Sequoyah 8th Grade Day is tomorrow, Monday, February 4 from 9-11 a.m.. We will be taking those 8th graders that are eligible to attend Sequoyah. The bus will leave at 8:15 a.m. from the school. Please do not be late.
Attention Parents: Zion School will be back in session on Monday, February 4th. The buildings were disinfected on Friday and air scrubbers have been running all weekend to help purify the air. If your child has the flu or starts to show flu-like symptoms please keep them at home for as long as medical personnel recommends and we will work with you on their attendance and school work. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
7th/8th Zion will be playing in the first round of ORES Area Tournament tomorrow, February 2nd at Peggs. The girls will play Tenkiller at 1:00 p.m. and the boys will play Peggs at 2:00 p.m. The bus for the players will leave at 11:00 a.m. Go Big Green!!
Due to the high number of flu cases and illnesses among students and staff, we will be closed tomorrow, February 1st. We will be bringing in workers to clean and disinfect the facilities. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. When school resumes, we ask that if your child is sick to please keep them home in order to keep from spreading it further.
The 3rd grade basketball game that was scheduled for tomorrow, February 1st has been cancelled.
LOST AND FOUND: There will be a lost and found table set up in the hallway by the office. If your child has lost any clothing, please come by and check to see if it is there.
GAME TIME CHANGES: 7th/8th Zion will be playing tonight at Woodall at 6:00 pm. and 7:00 p.m.
The Zion 4-H will be taking Valentine's Day orders again this year. Since we are not in school on the 14th, they will be delivering on Wednesday, February 13th, only to Zion School. Please return orders with money to your homeroom teacher or Mrs. Crozier by Friday, February 8th
5th/6th Zion will play tonight at Zion vs. Woodall. There will be 4 games starting at 4:30 p.m.
5th girls will be at 4:30 p.m., 5th boys at 5:00 p.m., 6th girls at 5:30 p.m., and 6th boys at 6:30 p.m. Go Big Green!!
Updated Zion League Schedule for Saturday, February 2
The 7/8 grade Zion BB teams will both play this evening in the Adair County Basketball Tournament at Stilwell High School. The girl’s championship game is at 6p and boy’s championship game is at 7p. Go Jets!
Zion League games will be played as scheduled this Saturday. The cancelled games from January 19th will be rescheduled.

Dr. Suess Shirt Day will be Friday, March 1st. If you would like to buy a t-shirt for that day, please turn in money and orders by January 31st. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
